How It Works:
1. Download the Affidavit Form: Access our free affidavit form for the State of Florida, available in both English and Spanish.
2. Complete the Form: Fill out the affidavit with the required information. Leave the signature and notary parts in blank .
3. Notarization:

Option 1: You can notarize your document with a local notary, and then send the original notarized file to us with UPS. The UPS shipping label will be provided by out team and is included as part of the service.

Option 2: Select remote online notarization and have your affidavit notarized by a licensed Florida Notary from the comfort of your home, or anywhere in the world. You don't need to send the physical file with this option.

Apostille Service: Once notarized, we can handle the apostille process with the Florida Department of State to ensure your affidavit is ready for international use.
Receive Your Document: After the apostille is obtained, you will receive your apostilled document physically, ensuring it meets all necessary legal requirements for your marriage abroad.

  • Do I need to notarize documents?

    If your documents will be used for immigration purposes, you do not need to add notary services. Otherwise, depending on your case, you may need to add this to your order. 


    The following purposes will generally require notarizations:

    -Banks/Credit Unions

    -Universities, Professional Accredidation Boards

    -State/Local/Federal Non-Immigtation Court


  • What is defined as a page?

    A page is a single sided document containing no more than 250 words. Should a page exceed this criteria, it would be subject to the cost of an additional page or a cost per word of $0.10. 

  • Is the translation certification included?

    Florida Translate is a member of the American Translators Association. 


    All of our translations are certified and this is included in the base price of the translation. 

  • How long do the documents take to be translated?

    Please view our fulfillment times here. Your documents may be completed faster if you select Expedited processsing during checkout. 

  • How will my documents be delieved?

    All documents are delivered electronically via Email. You may request physical shipping for a small surchrage at checkout. 

  • How can I submit my documents?

    You can upload your documents for submission when placing your order. Otherwise, you can send them to info@floridatranslate.com and we'll add them to your order.
