ID and Computer Requirements

Valid Government-Issued ID:

U.S. Issued ID/driver license, or Passport. If you do not have an ID issued by a U.S. state, you must use a passport.

Device:

Must have a computer or mobile device with video and audio capabilities.

What Is Remote Online Notarization (RON)?

Remote Online Notarization allows you to sign and notarize your documents through a secure, state-approved online platform — no need for in-person meetings or physical paperwork.

Our Florida-commissioned online notaries verify your identity through government-issued ID, witness your signature over live video, and affix a digital notary seal to your document.

  • What type of documents can I notarize online?

    We are able to notarize almost any private document, including: affidavits, travel authoritzations, power of attorneys, translations, company documents. 


    We are not able to remotely notarize public documents because they are legal and certified by the State. These include: 

    - Government issued documents (Vital Records, Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates.)

    - Court documents

    - Attested copies

    - Public school transcripts

  • What happens after I request a remote online notarization?

    Once your remote online notarization request is received, you will receive an invitation link to schedule an appointment with one of our online notaries. The session will take place remotely through the secure BlueNotary platform.


    To participate, you’ll need a valid U.S.-issued ID or passport. When you join the session, the platform will guide you through an ID verification process before connecting you with a notary. The notary will then assist you step-by-step with the signing process to ensure everything is completed smoothly and securely.

  • Do I need to be physically in the United States to complete the notarization?

    No, with Remote Online Notarization you can obtain a notarization outside of the state of Florida, or even outside the United States.  

  • What type of payment methods do you accept?

    We accept credit card, debit cards, Zelle, and PayPal. 

  • How/where do you ship?

    Your online notarization will be available digitally and we can send a physical version to your address upon request. 


    Physical documents are shipped with UPS and FedEx. We offer domestic and worldwide international deliveries with UPS. You can select your preferred shipping method during the checkout process. 


    Note: International shipping to Venezuela is currently limited. 

  • Can my documents be in a foreign language?

    Yes, the document itself can be in any language, but the notarial statement must remain in English. The signer must also be able to read and understand the langauge of the document they are signing.  


    If you select the remote online notarization option, we will ensure that everything is correclty formatted and notarized as required by the Department of State. 

  • Can I use this remote notarization abroad?

    Yes, but most countries will require an apostille. An apostille is a certification issued by the Department of State that validates a documents signature(s) for use abroad in accordance to the Hague Convention. 


    You are able to add-on the apositlle service to your remote online notarization. 


    The apostille is issued by the State and its purpose is to legalize documents for recognition and use abroad. 

  • What is an apostille? Do I need an apostille?

    An apostille is a certification issued by the Department of State to validate a document for use abroad.  Apostilles are only required when you're using a document outside of the United States. 


    All apostilles in Florida are issued by the Florida Department of State in Tallahassee. We offer the apostille service to help expedite and simplify the process for individuals that require a Florida Apostille.
